Hey stackers!
Collaboration is the name of the game at The Tech Writing Stack! This community is all about growing together and learning from each other. And it’s even better if it leads you to meet someone new.
So how about we make a healthy competition and discover new colleagues to work and write with?
Enter the Summer Collaboration Contest, an opportunity for all of us to discover that hidden collaborator among our readers or to gather the courage to ask one of the rockstar writers we look up to and build a new and lasting relationship.
Here’s how it works:
Pick one collaborator (or more) with whom you haven’t worked before, ideally someone with a slightly different background and areas of expertise.
Write an article on any technical topic of your convenience, preferably something that benefits from your aggregated input.
Publish that article on or before the end of the (northern) summer, August 31st.
Come back to this post and make a comment linking to your article.
That’s it! We’ll use the September issues of Across the Techverse to highlight all the submissions and get you as many views as possible!
We’ll announce a winner at the end of this period, based on views (collected from the techwriters.info redirection service). Yeah, we know, views don’t necessarily imply quality, but winning is not the point either. The point is making new friends!
Are you in?
Neat! I already have a few of these in the works, but I'll certainly get a few more going before the end of the month. That's a long time from now!
How many collabs can we do? Cause I got plans with all of you 😎😂
