Hey! This week I published an article on Greedy Algorithms and next week I'm telling you how I came up with a new Data Structure :)

It's great to be part of this community for another week, eager to see what new articles are coming!

Hi tech writers, I'm very much on the periphery here - not exclusively tech as I write about lots of different stuff.

@TomHalligan (now why doesn't that work in notes...) encouraged me to write about this which might be of interest. Sharp eyed viewers will see 36 blinky lights... That's the parallel digital interface side with 6 bits per Mega. The analogue side has 96 channels. Sound right up for the video clip🔊

Quick snippet for any Arduino aficionados seeing this. I shun I²C. I much prefer to set up parallel interfaces between processors.

Techstackers, here's my stuff!

1. An AI Tutor in Every Child's Hand:

https://goatfury.substack.com/p/an-ai-tutor-in-every-childs-hand

2. I plan to publish a collaborative work on how AI is affecting the restaurant business (I worked in it for 15+ years, and I've been able to consult with an expert who has "boots on the ground")

3. Milestone: I just hit 150 subscribers!

About half-way though the tech reviews on a new book. It’s not in the marketing pipeline at Packt (yet), so I’ll withhold details for now.

I have published 2 posts since last week:

- Weekly Code Confessions Digest #2: News, and Resources from Last Week: Where I shared some interesting articles, books and courses I came across that week. -- https://codeconfessions.substack.com/p/weekly-code-confessions-digest-2

- Some Gotchas with OpenAI's Function Call Feature and How to Handle Them -- This was a follow-up article on my last week's article on the function call feature of OpenAI's APIs. Here I discuss some of the issues people are likely to run into as they use function call features. Most people are handling these by complicating their application code. However, I show how these can be handled by guiding the model itself. The post provides small working code examples demonstrating each of the issues that can arise along with their solutions. Milestones:

Confessions of a Code Addict crossed 200 subscribers this past week as well.
