My piece of advice is that you need a hell of a lot of courage in life. Sometimes you just want to give up. But you have to grit your teeth. And tell yourself that tomorrow will be better.
You have to keep believing in yourself even when you don't. And I think that's the hardest part.
I agree. Recently we went through pretty scary medical issues with our youngest girl, the kind that make it hard to be optimistic. Fortunately, she fought it and now she's ok. But the hardest part was remaining optimistic. It takes a lot of courage to believe tomorrow can be better than today, because if you believe that, you cannot give up. Giving up is the easy solution.
I'm sorry Alejandro. Kids being sick is the worst thing we have to experience on this earth. The feeling of powerlessness is awful. May universe bless her and gives you a lot of strenght.
Thanks. You're absolutely right about the sense of powerlessness. In general parenting has shown me extreme feelings on all directions that I didn't know existed. Extreme joy, extreme pain, extreme fear, extreme hope, anything you ever felt before not it has a new dimension.
